Emily Behnke is a writer, stationery-enthusiast, art-maker, and adjunct instructor based in New England.

She is a graduate of The New School’s MFA in Creative Writing Program. She has attended the 2021 Tin House YA Workshop, the 2021 Yale Writers’ Workshop, and also holds a BA in English Literature from Manhattanville College.

Her work has been nominated for Best Small Fictions, and is forthcoming or featured in Okay Donkey, X-R-A-Y, tramspet, Newfound, Peatsmoke Journal, Bear Creek Gazette, Tiny Molecules, Shirley, and Typehouse Literary Magazine.

She is also an adjunct instructor of composition and writing in Connecticut and New York.
